KGSC Chaplaincy PDF Print E-mail
Welcome!

Chaplains are an integral part of the support services as we have a passion to guide youth as they develop spiritually & emotionally. We seek to provide pastoral care & support for students, staff & families by providing a supportive & caring environment. Though chaplains operate under Christian principles & values, we are here to serve all students respectfully & with sensitivity to individual’s personal religious beliefs. We endeavour to establish programs that will challenge students to explore issues of life & faith & provide opportunities for them to grow both emotionally & spiritually. Such programs that are currently on offer are listed below.

WEEKLY CHAPLAINCY PROGRAMS

· “Pulse” is an opportunity for students to come together & learn more about the Bible. It’s on Thursday lunch in our office under the senior library.
· “Brekkie Club” is a free breakfast put on by the Chaplains fridays mornings before school down at the senior cafeteria underneath the library. Join us for pancakes and poppers or challenge us to a game of handball or cards.
· Other Activities: SU holiday camps, School Camps, Youth Alive concerts, Motivational Media Day, Reflection Day, Operation Christmas Child etc.

CHAPLAIN AVAILABILITY
We are currently located under the senior library & are here during school hours Monday – Thursday & until 2pm on Friday. Please feel welcome to visit us anytime. However, it is best to make an appointment if you need to see us as we are not always in the office.
