The Kelvin Grove State College Children’s Centre was formed in 1988 by a group of parents and citizens hoping to create a safe and pleasant environment for children to enjoy outside of traditional school hours.

The Centre provides care and activities for children from Prep to Year 7 and enrolments are open to surrounding schools during vacation periods. We combine a flexible program within a safe physical and social environment.

The Children’s Centre is located within the Kelvin Grove State College Junior School campus on the bottom floor of "C" Block, the wooden building adjacent to the car park.

Professional people staff the Centre, and all have a genuine interest in the children under their care. All members of the staff are expected to model socially responsible and acceptable behaviour, employ fair and just practices and provide a supportive environment.
