Congratulations to Year 10 Digital Technologies students, Andrew and Tiernan who pitched their digital start up ideas to Dhawal Nayak from OneEntity yesterday. From next week the boys will be joining the Fishburners community and working on their startups as part of our Entrepreneurial program and partnership.

The College has been actively seeking out links with digital industries and businesses so that students have opportunities to access this amazing ‘world of work’, which includes exposing them to industry specific areas of education, training and employment The college has built a relationship with one of the first businesses to call Fishburners home, One Entity, who assist us with advice around digital platforms, teacher professional development and student industry awareness.

Fishburners is dedicated to creating highly scalable Australian tech startups through inspiration, collection, connection and showcasing. They are Australia’s largest host of startup focussed events and Australia’s largest funnel for new startups and last year were awarded Australia’s best coworking space at Stratcon 2017.
