Last week our Technology and Design Engineering students held a presentation in the Trade Training Centre to sign off on the Work Trolley that the students have made for Cascade Australia. Representatives from Cascade and the Gateway to Industry Schools Program for Manufacturing and Engineering were in attendance.
The Industry to School Live Project is a partnership between Cascade Australia and Kelvin Grove State College and gives our Senior Certificate 2 in Engineering Pathways students industry exposure and awareness. The Year 12 class made the Trolley for Cascade as a part of a Continuous Improvement program. The project was a fantastic learning experience for our students offering real world design and manufacturing opportunities.
