Our Year 10 students Amber, Sonal and Mrunmayi are currently participating in the digital entrepreneurship program through the KGSC Fishburners partnership. The team is working on an exciting and innovative concept for their Robbin start up.
Last week the team pitched to Mr Paulger, and gained support to implement phase 2 of their proof of concept trials. Further down the track they are planning to develop a prototype in conjunction with some of our industry partners, and then test the prototype at KGSC. The team is also keen to connect into the newly emerging "circular economy" community (there is now a Qld circular economy hub – see https://circularecolab.com/ ), government programs and events to gain financial and other support to build their network and access funding.
The Robbin team will be pitching at the upcoming Fishburners EdTech Pitch Night on Fri 31st May, from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm. This is a very exciting opportunity for the girls, and the Fishburners General Manager has been working with the Robbin team to prepare and fine tune their pitch.
