Way Beyond Today is a Kelvin Grove State College innovative action research program that has been active since 2009 (Year of Creativity in Queensland Schools). Its main areas of operation are co-creativity; futures; and work and community connectivity.
The Way Beyond Today Expo was introduced in 2017 to enable our students and college community to engage with a wide range of contemporary and future employment and community development prospects.

Most future jobs are not 'out there', they're within the possibilities of Way Beyond Today.
The day is an important part of the process for students in choosing subjects and pathways for their senior schooling and beyond. More importantly it is about empowering students to chart a course for their future that takes into account the shifting perspectives of the world of work, allowing students to explore future career opportunities and pathways gaining valuable advice from education providers and industry specialists.
