On the weekend, our KGSC Volleyball Excellence Program had 48 teams compete down at the Queensland Beach Volleyball Schools Cup at Coolangatta beach. Students from years 7-12 battled it out in the Pairs or Fours divisions over the two-day competition with some huge results! Of the 48 teams, we had 12 teams win medals in their respective divisions.
Congratulations to the following teams on winning medals at the competition:
1st place: 7G4 - KG1: Caitlin, Ellia, Ivy & Maddy; 8G2: Chloe & Timmy; 9B2: Hudson & Ollie; 10B2: Alex & Ryan; 11B4: Alex, Baxter, Cameron, Lachy & Luke; 11B2 (Div 2): Beckam & Josh
2nd place: 9B2 (Div 2): Ed & Will; 10G4: Gianna, Hanna, Juana & Iciar; 10B2: Ju'ne & Lincoln
3rd place: 7G4 - KG2: Maria, Nina, Ha Anh & Verity; 8G4: Alexi, Calista, Harper & Kim; 10B4: Callan, Gilbert, Lucas, Luka & Sabbathi; 12G2: Emilie & Maya
The performances from our students has resulted in KG being Awarded Overall Champion School for Qld Beach Schools Cup 2024!
