2024 Queensland State School term dates
The 2024 school calendar External link is available to download via the department's website.
Students commencing Year 7 will begin the 2024 school year on Monday 22 January 2024. Prefects, Peer Supporters and Student Leaders will also commence on Monday 22 January 2024.
All students in Years 8 – 12 will return to school and commence classes on Tuesday 23 January 2024.

The last day of school for Year 12 students is Friday 15 November 2024.
For students in Years 10 and 11, the last day of school is Friday 22 November 2024.
Students in Years 7 to 9 will finish the academic school year on Friday 13 December 2024.
