Parents and Citizens

The P&C meets at 7pm on the 3rd Monday of each month in the Main College Library. The three (3) sub-school Parent Advisory Groups (PAGs) meet every second Monday of the month.  For more information please go to kgscpac.org

What does the P&C do?

The College P&C Association looks after the Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), Tuckshop and SUB shop business, plus three Parent Advisory Groups (PAG) for the Junior, Middle and Senior Schools and sponsors subcommittees (Music and Swim School).

The College Principal attends the P&C meeting to discuss issues affecting the whole College.  The Junior, Middle and Senior School P&C Vice-presidents attend the P&C meeting and can raise issues from the PAG meetings held the previous week.

What does the PAG do?

The PAG Co-ordinator is a parent who chairs the PAG meeting and co-ordinates any PAG events. The PAG meetings are attended by the Sub-School Principals and other teaching staff as required. They are less informal than the P&C meeting and are a good way to keep up with Sub-School issues. They provide an opportunity to meet other parents and share knowledge and experiences pertaining to the relevant sub-school their children attend.

The two Parents Advisory Groups each have a parent PAG Coordinator. For more information please email the co-ordinator at kgscjpag@gmail.com or kgscspag@gmail.com or visit our website kgscpac.org

PAG Meetings (Middle/Senior] are held on the second Monday of each month (excluding school holidays) at 5.30pm and 7.00pm for the Junior. The JPAG meets in the Junior School Library and the MPAG and SPAG meet in the College Library. All Parents are invited to come along for a friendly relaxed chat and P&C planning.

Changes to the above dates or venues will be advertised in the College newsletter or on the P&C website kgscpac.org or contact our College Liaison Officer, Helen Baxter on 3552 7333.
