Year 7 2023 Enrolment Applications
We are now accepting enrolment applications for Year 7 in 2023.
Students seeking to enrol for Year 7 in 2023 should submit an Expression of Interest with all supporting documents to firstname.lastname@example.org

Students may apply for enrolment in Year 7 at Kelvin Grove State College under the following categories:
Local catchment area: student's principal residence is within the defined local catchment area (Years 7-12). Please refer to the College Enrolment Management Plan and submit EOI with required supporting documentation to email@example.com, preferably by end of Term 2 2022.
Academic Excellence via acceptance into the Academic Achievers program. Year 6 students will take the entrance exam in term 2 2022.
Test date Tuesday May 3rd 2022; closing date Thursday 28 April 2022.
Cultural Excellence via acceptance into the Music, Art and Design or Dance Excellence programs. Entry via audition or submission of design challenge.
Sporting Excellence via acceptance onto the Football, Tennis, Golf or Volleyball Excellence programs. Entry via trial.

Non-catchment Excellence Application processing fees
A non-refundable Processing Fee of $220 applies for all new out-of-catchment Excellence applications. This fee is payable at the time the application is submitted and is not a guarantee of acceptance. If applying for multiple programs, fee is payable only once.
The fee can be paid at the SUBShop (on the Senior School Campus) or by bank transfer to the College account:
BSB 064 157 Account 10000544. Please ensure you identify your student's surname and first name initial in the reference area.
Decision on enrolment
Please note that the submission of an Expression of Interest for enrolment does not guarantee a place at the College until the application has been approved by the Executive Principal.
Where the Executive Principal forms a preliminary view that an application will not satisfy the conditions of enrolment, applicants will be notified in writing. The applicant may respond to the Executive Principal's preliminary view by making a submission to the Executive Principal, no later than seven days after receiving the preliminary view letter.
If no submission is received, the Executive Principal's preliminary view will be treated as the final decision and no further notice will be provided.
If a submission is received, the Executive Principal will consider the submission and make a final decision, notice of which will be provided to the applicant as soon as is practicable.
There is no internal review of the Executive Principal's decision.
In-catchment Enrolment Applications-The Executive Principal is responsible for all decisions on enrolments and may request any additional documentation and conduct other enquiries deemed necessary to satisfy eligibility criteria.

Selective Entry Enrolment Applications-The Executive Principal is responsible for all decisions on selective entry enrolments and this decision on selection will be final.
