History Club is a student initiative and is led and run by students who are passionate about history. The club is supervised by Humanities staff, and each week we have student-led presentations and discussions in which we explore topics across the humanities, with a particular focus on history and philosophy. It is run by the Humanities captains and meets every Thursday at lunch in SE27.
It is a place to meet and collaborate with like-minded peers and uniquely engage with History and the Humanities in ways not addressed through the curriculum. Through our student-led presentations, we foster a community of curiosity which builds the historical understanding of our members and the historical consciousness of our wider school community.
Whether you're interested in pursuing History and the Humanities post-schooling or just want a fun time, History Club is a great place to immerse yourself in the Humanities and our college community.
