Kelvin Grove State College values and celebrates the rich diversity of cultures, faiths, and backgrounds within our school community. Our Multifaith and Diversity Committee, led by Chappy Josh, serves as a platform for fostering understanding, respect, and inclusivity among students and staff.
The Multifaith and Diversity Committee meets every Tuesday during lunch, providing a welcoming space for open dialogue, sharing experiences, and promoting interfaith harmony. Through various activities, discussions, and events, we aim to create an environment that embraces and appreciates the multicultural tapestry of our school.
At Kelvin Grove State College, we believe that diversity enriches our educational experience, encourages empathy, and prepares students to thrive in a global society. The Multifaith and Diversity Committee actively works towards cultivating an inclusive atmosphere where individuals can feel valued, understood, and supported.
By engaging with different faiths, cultures, and perspectives, students have the opportunity to broaden their horizons, challenge stereotypes, and develop a deeper appreciation for the world's diverse traditions. Through our committee, students are encouraged to embrace curiosity, ask questions, and learn from one another's experiences.
