Students experiencing schooling right now will be entering a world subject to extreme change. In this world, creativity, innovation and thinking outside the square will be key survival tools. Kelvin Grove State College wants to equip creative students with new ways of looking at and thinking about the world. That is why we are developing curriculum focused on the future, using the best models in art and design education. The visual arts and design are key disciplines that will shape our responses to future challenges.

- Year 7, 2027 applications close Friday 15 May.
- The on-campus design challenge workshop is by invitation only and will be held on Tuesday 26 May.
- All applications are to be submitted via the Portal on the website here.
- Parents will be notified in Week 10, Term 2 with the outcome of their student's application.
Application requirements:
Please upload a sample of your students' best artwork in traditional media (note that digitally produced artworks will not be considered), plus a handwritten note by the student expressing why they would like to be in the Program and an evaluation of their artwork. (Applications are received for Years 7, 8 & 11 only).
