The Hip Hop Crew is a high-energy, audition-based performance group for dedicated dancers who are passionate about street dance styles and committed to developing their skills in a team environment. Students rehearse weekly to build technique, strength, musicality, and performance quality, working collaboratively to create polished and dynamic routines.
Led by experienced senior dance teachers Diana Ellis and Therese Sommers, students are supported through high-0quality training and expert guidance that focuses on both technical development and performance excellence.
Throughout the year, the Hip Hop Crew proudly represents the school at major events including Night of Dance, as well as external competitions such as DanceX and House of Champions. These performance opportunities help students build confidence, stage presence and teamwork while experiencing the excitement of performing for live audiences.
Selection for the crew is based on an audition process, and successful students are expected to demonstrate commitment, a string work ethic and a positive attitude. Members are required to attend weekly rehearsals and contribute to a supportive, respectful, and inclusive team culture.
The Hip Hop Crew provides an exciting opportunity for students to grow as performers, challenge themselves artistically, develop leadership skills and be part of a vibrant and inspiring dance community.
