Welcome to Auslan Club, a vibrant and inclusive extracurricular activity at our school! If you're interested in learning sign language and embracing deaf culture, the Auslan Club is the perfect place for you. Led by the enthusiastic Ms. Caroll, we gather every Tuesday during morning tea in SN18.
Join us as we dive into the fascinating world of Auslan, Australian Sign Language. Whether you have prior experience or are completely new to sign language, all are welcome. Auslan Club provides a supportive environment where students can learn, practice, and communicate using this beautiful visual language.
During our sessions, we'll explore the basics of Auslan, including finger spelling, common signs, and sentence structure. You'll have the opportunity to engage in interactive activities, role-plays, and conversations that enhance your signing skills. Together, we'll learn to express ourselves, communicate with others, and bridge the gap between the hearing and deaf communities.
