We asked Aashay if he could share a few words with our community and this is what he had to say,

“This year, I’m doing a Bachelor of Advanced Science, majoring in physics, at UQ, with the intentions of going into research science. Out of all the branches of science, physics has always been the one that had most interested me, and I love the way that it helps give us an understanding of the world down to its smallest particles. I’ve always been interested in the area of scientific research, and once I found the Advanced Science degree at UQ, and saw how it was specifically tailored to allow students career opportunities in this field, I knew it would be perfect for me. I’m incredibly grateful for my time spent at Kelvin Grove, and the amazing teachers who I have learnt from. The opportunities provided through the SRC and the leadership positions available in the college have been invaluable to me, and helped me grow as a person, whilst also giving me the confidence and skills to move ahead in my future. Thanks once again to Kelvin Grove for all the support.”​
