North-West District Champions!
Kelvin Grove competed at the district swimming carnival today where the swimmers would attempt to qualify through to the Metropolitan North regional championships.
With a dedicated team, the swimmers were busy all day with numerous place getters and regional qualifications. Congratulations must go to the consistent performances that were seen by the following who were named district age champions:
Sophie, Mateo, Rio, Kelly, Ansh, Lachlan, Molly, Moya and Thomas Cā.
At the end of the day, the way Kelvin Grove contested the relays was admirable, in what were some great moments of the day with teamwork and tight finishes.
The KG team finished as district champions in a great day of swimming.ā
