Congratulations to the 12 KG girls (Abbey, Sophia, Taryn, Issy, Violet, Cate, Ayla, Emily, Nyree, Millie, Keisha, and Xiana) who represented Met North at the Football State Championships at Wynnum Wolves FC over the past four days. Both the 13-15 years team and the 16-19 years team had incredible success throughout the tournament, each earning a spot in the grand final of their respective competitions. Unfortunately, both teams ended up with silver medals after a penalty shootout (13-15 years) and a very close defeat (16-19 years).
Special congratulations to the four girls selected for the QLD State Team – Issy, Violet, Millie, and Xiana, and to Taryn and Keisha, who were selected as shadow players for the QLD State Team. Well done, girls
