The Lost Kingdom of Egypt Exhibition!
Students from classes 7A, 7D, and 7J recently invited parents and caregivers to a special event celebrating our project-based learning unit on ancient Egypt. The exhibition, titled "The Lost Kingdom of Egypt," was a resounding success!
We were honored to have Queensland Museum Archaeologists, Lincoln Morse and Nicholas Hadnutt, attend the event to provide feedback. They were thoroughly impressed by the student-created museum, which showcased an incredible variety of exhibits. These included models of pyramids, replicas of ancient artefacts, stop motion animation, VR walk-throughs, raps about pharaohs and social hierarchy, and much more.
Our students poured their passion and creativity into this project, developing a deep understanding of ancient Egyptian history and culture while honing their research, collaboration, and presentation skills. Their dedication truly brought the ancient world to life!
