Futurist Tony Ryan has described KG's Way Beyond Today event as "the most outstanding support for the future of work that I have experienced in Australian schools".
The event, which was celebrated last week, a KGSC Open Futures innovative action research program that has been active since 2009. Its main areas of operation are co-creativity; futures; work and community connectivity.
The Way Beyond Today expo and industry panels were introduced a few years ago to enable our students and College community to engage with a wide range of contemporary and future employment and community development prospects.
The day was a huge success and we would like to thank all of our exhibitors and industry panellists who shared their stories and insights of their personal career pathways to give our students a better understanding of what different industries and roles within those industries look like.
Thanks also go to all staff and students involved in the event. Great work everyone!
