On Tuesday evening our College Captains Cassidy and Sanuli, and our College Executive Principal Joel Buchholz were special guests at an International Women's Day Reception at Government House.
Cassidy and Sanuli were able to network with other young female leaders from schools across Brisbane, while also rubbing shoulders with a wide range of inspiring, influential and accomplished Queensland women. The girls enjoyed speaking with Attorney-General Shannon Fentiman, Police Commissioner, Katarina Carrol, Shadow Minister for Finance and Integrity, Fiona Simpson, and, of course, Her Excellency, Governor Dr Jeannette Young. It was also great to catch up with several successful and inspiring KG alumni at the reception, including young leaders from the charity, Share the Dignity. It has been an incredible week for our captains and we celebrant our young aspirant leaders, and their contribution to the KG community.
