We've been on an amazing journey this Queensland Mental Health Week, and the past three days have been filled with fantastic activities and valuable insights. Let's relive the best moments:
Day 1: Kicked off with 'Stress Ball' Making and 'Just Dance' Grooves!
We started strong with a fun stress-relief session in partnership with headspace, making stress balls. Lunchtime turned into a dance party with 'Just Dance' in the hall.
Day 2: The Mental Health Week Expo!
Our second day featured the Mental Health Week Expo, where students explored resources and support from amazing organizations like headspace, QUT Psychology Clinic, Clarence Street Program, Picabeen Community, and Kookaburra Kids.
Day 3: Reverse Busking and 'Tasty Mindfulness'
We wrapped up with heartwarming 'Reverse Busking' performances, showing support with green ribbons. The 'Tasty Mindfulness' session guided us to connect with balanced diets and mindfulness.
Day 4: And what's a morning without hot chocolates and pancakes? We warmed up, fueled up, and shared smiles as we continued to support each other throughout Queensland Mental Health Week.
