Our Year 10 students recently had a fantastic opportunity to participate in an initiative in collaboration with Health and Wellbeing Queensland. In small groups, they developed media campaigns aimed at encouraging physical activity among teenagers.
A special thanks to
Borderline Australia for facilitating the workshop, and to Flynn Southam, who worked with our students on their initiatives after only recently returning from the Paris Olympics winning a Silver and Bronze Medal
in swimming. We also extend our gratitude to
Health and Wellbeing Queensland for providing this valuable experience.
We’re proud of our students’ creativity and dedication, and we eagerly await to see if their ideas come to fruition.
Thank you, Mr Pollock, and all the KG staff involved, for your efforts in organising this initiative. Your dedication made this valuable experience possible for our Year 10 students.
